Manila, Philippines (December 26, 2016) – All-hits station Wish FM 107.5 will once again salute our Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists who dominated this year’s music scene and to celebrate its humble rise in social media. Wish 107.5 is all set to start the new year with the 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards (WMA) happening on January 16, 2017 at the Big Dome.

Number One FM YouTube Channel

The station invests heavily on its social media platform. Aside from traditional radio broadcasting via FM tuner, the station gone out to provide multiple platforms where great Filipino talents can perform and showcase their music.


Wish FM is also known for its innovative FM radio on wheels, the Wish FM Bus, that roams around the metropolis to stage free road shows with OPM artists.

Moreover, the station reaches out to a wider audience, beyond the scope of its radio signal, through social media platform YouTube.

The Wish 107.5 YouTube Channel is now the number one FM YouTube channel in the country, reaching over two hundred million views in just two years’ time.

It was created to serve as an online sanctuary of phenomenal “WISHclusive” videos, mostly recorded inside the Wish FM Bus, featuring the best local and international music artists.

The concept gained appreciation from music lovers around the globe, ranging from local fans to popular international figures, making it the WISHClusive gateway of Filipino artists to the world.

According to the official year-end report released by YouTube Philippines, Wish 107.5 channel topped the list among local YouTube content creators who grew rapidly in 2016, adding a total of 439,407 new followers.

As of writing, the Wish FM’s YouTube channel has 652,000 subscribers since its launch in July 2014, a fast-growing online community of music lovers.

WISHclusive Gateway to the World

The station will celebrate this milestone with the second Wish 107.5 Music Awards (WMA), a fitting tribute to the artists and OPM supporters that fueled the station’s gradual rise in popularity from being an unknown newcomer to becoming an ambassador of Filipino artistry.

With the theme “Your WISHclusive Gateway to the World,” the second WMA will set the spotlight on artists, both established and emerging talents, who brought world-class Filipino musicality to the international stage.

Online Voting

Last December 6, Wish 107.5 released the complete list of nominees vying in the second WMA and opened the official voting page,

Online votes will comprise 50 percent of a nominee’s total score, while the other 50 percent will come from the votes of a select panel of judges. Voting period for the second WMA started last December 16 until 12 noon of January 16, 2017.
